I have always adored babies, and even as a child myself, I was always drawn to and wanted to help comfort crying babies. Following many years of Maternity Nursing, my interest in the prevention of colic and treatment and care of babies with colic grew alongside my knowledge and understanding of the value of complementary therapies within baby care. Perhaps because I, myself was a colicky baby, I have always felt a great empathy for them and through my work discovered that there is nearly always a reason for colic, which with experience can be treated. The causes of colic, once medical conditions have been ruled out, are often digestion or care based, simple little changes in a baby’s care or feeding patterns can make a huge difference to their happiness. I feel great fulfilment from being able to help parents to successfully treat colic and I truly believe that no little baby needs to suffer through colic.

Liz started working for us over 15 years ago and soon became one of our most popular Maternity Nurses. Following a few years of enjoying becoming a mother herself Liz has returned to Specialist Maternity Nursing and Colic Consultancy. She is not only naturally skilled and successful within her work but also has a truly kind and caring personality.

Jaymie has 4 young children and with her own personal baby care experience and her knowledge and understanding of our work and services, Jaymie is well placed to give parents advice and information when choosing the best services to suit their individual needs.

Paula moved to France in 2008 where she was studying for her NVQ Level 4 in childcare while looking after her 4 children. On her return to England Paula opened her own Montessori Nursery school which she has been successfully running for the past 10 years. Paula is now looking for a change in direction and is working with us gaining experience within Colic Consultancy and is a great addition to our group; she really enjoys working with babies and has a kind, gentle, magnetic personality.
